Russel Geist earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1996. After moving to Las Vegas, Mr. Geist enrolled in the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas earning his Juris Doctorate in 2004. He continued his legal education in Dallas, Texas in the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University where he obtained his Master of Laws degree in Taxation in 2007.
Mr. Geist entered the practice of law after working in the banking industry for an international company in the credit operations department. During law school, he taught classes at Clark County Legal Services, and trained other instructors there. Upon graduating from law school, he gained experience in commercial litigation before switching his focus full-time to estate planning in 2007.
